Crime & Traffic Offence

Dato Seri,
Crimes is so bad in this country, Malaysians are literally scared to even leave their house. Much has been written and I dont want to repeat it. A community leader, I have heard and experience more than enough. My aunt from Alor Star came to visit my cousin in Ampang recently. She didnt even had the chance to enter the gate, was attacked by a m/cycle thief, fell and died. Please do something before this country completely goes to the dogs!
And many people look at crime without considering the traffic crimes on our roads. I say we must also quickly take action to clamp down on traffic offences on our road because they spawn criminals and/or facilitate the getaway of criminals beside endangering our law enforcers. Examples:
1. by not taking action against vehicles with darkly tinted vehicles, this allow criminals to commit crime without forewarning on the road. Recently, someone was tailgated in Subang Jaya and the potential victim couldnt see who the crooks were or what they were up to. But the couple knew they were up to something. So they dashed to the police station and then only the car gave up. Heavily tinted cars also endanger our police when they stop such cars. Criminals may have gun ready to shoot and the poor officers wont even know what hit them!
2. lack of action against vehicles for beating traffic light and going against one way traffic or riding against traffic will facilitate snatch thieves to steal and to getaway easily. I say this because I have twice chased after m/cycle snatch thieves but they got away because they beat the traffic light. I couldnt.
3. lack of action against "soup" up vehicles also allow criminal getaway vehicles to outrun police vehicles.
4. by not taking action against m/cycles not using m/cycle lanes eg. Federal Highway, also allow easier getaway.
I could go on but I believe Dato would have got the gist of the point I am trying to put across. All law enforcement must come down HARD also on traffic offenders NOW before its too late!
I also believe the general police force are not able to take action against traffic offenders except those in the Traffic Division. This is a strange rule!
